What starts as a bit of comedy as usual by Raymond Wong's character turns into a tragic end.
Both he and Wong Yuen Sun embark on a holiday to Hong Kong for fun and sun but turns out into a nightmare-adventure.
Chan Wei Man acts as the baddie's main henchman and lift the movie up a few notches whenever he appears.
Wong Yuen Sun seems to be running away from the baddies most of the time - from the walkway chase to the train - even from the 1st confrontation with Chan Wei Man's character. I think the producers wanted to potray him as someone who is a non-fighter or the walk-away from confrontation type. The chases is the highlight of the movie and its a bit different from most of the Hong Kong's movies that i have watched.
The main plot is about a name list (of people who is in trouble with the law) and the baddies believe that the list is with Wong Yuen Sun after he and Raymond save a guy (familiar face in Hong Kong's movies) when he escape from the baddies but alas was killed by Chan Wei Man's character - impressive fight here.
In the end part, Wong Yen Sun flew into a rage after discovering his buddy was killed and finally confront the baddies one by one (a very good one - gotta give 5 out of 5 especially the fight with Chan Wei Man).
In the beginning, Wong Yuen Sun dreamt of someone being stabbed but the assailant is unkown. At the end, we are shown who the killer is.
The movie's pace is well done with fights and suspence every fight mins or so.
For Whom To Be Murdered is for Hong Kong movie lovers - one for those who love action, drama and adventure.
This one is great - i believe if i am not mistaken - there is a Hollywood remake of this.
Feel free to add or correct any info on the movie.
