This films follows two Hong Kong policewomen (Yukari Oshima and Sharon Yeung Pan-pan of ANGEL TERMINATORS fame) on
vacation to Manila to visit Yukari’s cousin, a wealthy businessman named Hing. They are pulled off their leave and teamed with a maverick Manila cop named Eddie to stop a ring of arms smugglers led by...Hing (Surprise!). What rises this film above it’s by-thenumbers plot and predictable script are fairly good performances by Yukari, Yeung, and the actor playing Eddie, who is trying to connect with his daughter past a Mother-in-law that won’t forgive him the death of her daughter, his wife. Indeed, Yukari gets a
chance to shine a bit more as an actress, since she carries a large part of the film, unlike her cameos and supporting parts in GUARDIAN ANGEL, ANGEL OF VENGEANCE and ULTRACOP 2000. The
rest, unfortunately, are stereotypes of criminals, molls, and henchmen. The action is faster and more outrageous in this film than most Phillipines productions and it’s worth a rental, particularly if you are a Yukari Oshima fan.
