The film opens with a bunch of nude women splashing around the river when a crocodile chows down on one of them. We then see a white haired witch doctor (Yeung Chi Hing) hanging a live chicken and starts chanting. The crocodie grabs hold of the chicken and the witch doctor pulls it shore, stabs it in eyes, gutts him in the stomach also taking out contents one of which happens to be the dead girl's bracelet which he hands over to the family.
We are then swiched to a tropical city with two couples (Zhensheng & Margaret, Zhongping & Cuiling) who research, this time on the mystery of Tame Head Sorcery (since it has been blamed for many strange things recently). Zhensheng (Lam Wai Tiu) invites them to a nightclub were we see a black magician (Lo Lieh) bring a beautiful girl back to his mansion, take her to his secret room, remove all her clothing and remove a spike from her skull.
The black magician becomes fond of Margaret (Lily Li) having cutting her finger on some roses, put blood on a cloth and placing a dead cat right in her yard. He makes a potion of her blood and pours it on one of the many wax figures he has in his secret area so he can gain control of Margaret. Margaret (unwillingly) sneaks out the house and goes over to the black magician's mansion, the magician tells her he needs breast milk to look young so he needs her to produce milk. He takes some of her hair for the potion for her to produce milk and after he chants a bit she sleeps with him. Zhensheng wakes up see Margaret suddenly nine months pregnant...
Director Ho Meng Hua (The Flying Guillotine - 1975, The Mighty Peking Man - 1977) and Writer Ni Kuang (Heroes Two - 1974) has done a wonderful job not making feel like you are just watching another average sequel to the first film but in a way compares to the quality to the original. I like that they brought back the same characters of the first film but playing different people, something you don't see in films no more. Released in the US (and VHS) as Return Of The Zombies. Also starring Tanny Tien Ni, Lam Fung, Yeung Oi Wa, Wong Jing Jing, Au Ga Lai, Man Man, Mama Hung, Chui Fat, Yuen Shun Yi, Alan Chan Kwok Kuen, Cheung Chok Chow, Gam Tin Chue, Yeung Kei, Wong Kung Miu. A Shaw Brothers (HK) Co. Ltd Release.
